It was bad. So bad it was funny.

I did three matches, with a few people carrying over into each one. One thing I must say about the boycott is that Que times are now fantastic! Usually I would Que up and then dick around for 5-10 minutes. Check the AH, try to sort through my mail. Re-arrange the shit in my bags. Not now, though. I que up and before I can get on my mount I’m in AV. Not that it really matters. Every single match went just like Aluciene said it would.

First match I hung out (went for IBGY – failed) and watched the Alliance (try to) turtle. Whilst before the Horde would be a bit more hesitant about charging over the bridge, now they just seemed to walk straight through us without pause. It was embarrassing. You can about imagine what kind of words were being said over the BG chat.

Second match, same way – we all fail getting IBGY – half go for galv and wipe. I made it to IBGY first (crusader Aura ftw) but there is little a (then) 64 tankadin in outland BoE Greens can do a slew of NPC’s + Horde. Yah, I waited for reinforcements. We had all of about 5 people there – was sad and cringe worthy.

Third match – same as before – almost to a T! I wanted to prove a point so I took the second exit (outlined on the blog linked above). Got past the choke point and outran a single orc hunter (crusader aura ftw, again) and ended up at Tower Point with a 70 Rogue. Unfortunately, we could not hold the tower so again, end up back at the turtle. Exit via second exit and make a run for Tower Point again. Outrun a few horde but find I am horribly underpowered to take the tower myself. I see no one is anywhere near me – they are all QQ in the turtle getting horribly crushed. Seeing as how the end is near, and I am not capable of taking a Tower/GY myself, I decided to make a run on Drek.

Haul ass to drek without any real issue – the only Horde toon I saw was last at the choke point – all I had to do was run straight past NPC’s. Right before I ran in to see Drek I announced “ALL IN!” and bubble-ran. Drek and his dudes start yelling about being attacked and people start to notice that I am in there trying to win it for us. I died very rapidly when the bubble came off, and we lost shortly afterwards, but I like to think that I got some people riled up. If I can make it there surely they can. Not like our D at the turtle was holding up that well.

I decided to not go back into AV for a while. The Alliance QQ and the absolute frog-stop the Horde gave us means 20 minutes and no honor (and no point). Not like I think we should get honor for fighting amongst ourself and QQ rather then working together.

We leveled my g/f druid to 19 and got some nice instance blues for her. Decided to see if WSG was any different then AV. She did well – whilst not the 1600+ HP 30+ stam on boots warrior she held her own OK. The people she was with were decent and reasonably plesent and it sounded like they won a few.

I on the other hand was told to “just type /afk” and/or leave. 1 cap in all hell breaks loose when an “I-hate-to-lose-why-is-alliance-so-stupid-in-all-caps” starts telling all of us how much we suck. While it was funny to see a lvl 10 warrior in there (in nothing but greys and the occasional white!!!!) and I a level 14 rogue bank-alt with crap gear running around with the twinks, it was no excuse for how much of an ass some of these guys were.

Not sure how it works on horde side (although I am going to get Diaz up to lvl 11 and hit WSG) but that seems to be the constant across bg’s and level brackets. Less QQ more Pew Pew. Alliance can’t seem to sort their egos out or work together. It’s less a matter of “welfare epics”, gear and l2p, as it is inter-personal issues amongst alliance in general. 

I wonder how those EoTS PLOWS are goin?
